Divisions Offered In Our Hip Hop Programs

Beginner: For those new to ballet, focusing on basic techniques and foundational skills. Students will learn essential positions, movements, and the basics of ballet etiquette.
Intermediate: For dancers with some ballet experience looking to refine their technique and expand their repertoire. Classes emphasize developing strength, flexibility, and musicality.
Advanced: For dedicated dancers aiming to perfect their technique and performance abilities. These classes include complex choreography and advanced technical training.

Sevrin “Sevi” Emnacen-Boyd is a dynamic half-Filipino b-boy and all-styles dancer dedicated to advancing the Vancouver street dance scene. Since 2006, Sevi has been a vital part of the community, known for his intricate musicality and innovative breaking techniques. He has organized numerous youth dance battles, judged competitions, and taught classes nationwide. Internationally, Sevi has competed in cities like Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York, and Manila. He is an active member of the Now Or Never Crew, Scndrlz, and Think Twice Japan, continuously pushing the boundaries of dance and inspiring others with his passion and creativity.

Audition & Prerequistes
Certain programs require auditions and prerequisite training to ensure students are placed in classes that best suit their skill level and goals:

​Ballet: ​Dancers with previous experience must undergo an assessment or submit a video showcasing their proficiency and previous training. Alternatively, they can provide an RAD/ISTD report card.

Lyrical, Jazz, Acrobatic, Contemporary, and Chinese Dance: Ballet training and an audition are required for competitive levels.

K-pop, Hip Hop: Open to all levels, with competitive options available based on skill assessment.
